2. Setting Up KeyId and KeySecret#
After entering the AccessKey management, you can create an account and view the corresponding KeyId and KeySecret.
3. Setting Up the Storage Bucket Name#
- It is recommended to choose "Standard Storage" for the storage type. If you choose "Infrequent Access Storage," although the storage cost can be reduced, the data retrieval cost is relatively high.
- Choose "Public Read" for the access permissions. If you choose "Private," PicGo can still upload, but it cannot be previewed in PicGo, which is inconvenient to use.
4. Confirming the Storage Region#
Refer to the following image to obtain the region information, and note that the ".aliyun.com" suffix is not required (PicGo will automatically add it).
5. Specifying the Storage Path#
The storage path can be set according to the actual situation.
6. Setting Up the URL Suffix#
It can be left blank or set based on the file styles previously set in OSS (such as watermark styles), in the format of ?x-oss-process=style/[stylename]. For example, if the following style is set in OSS, as shown in the image below, the effect is to display a watermark symbol in the upper right corner of the image.
If this style is desired, then in the "URL Suffix" setting in PicGo, it should be set as: ?x-oss-process=style/quant.show
After this setting, uploading images will not be affected, but the displayed images in PicGo's album will automatically have the watermark style applied for users to use.
Can users still access the original images without the watermark? The answer is yes. Although they may not be displayed in PicGo's album, you can manually remove the "?x-oss-process=style/quant.show" part from the image URL to access the original image.
However, if there is no significant need for styled images, it is recommended to leave the "URL Suffix" setting blank. If there is an occasional need for styles in wikis, blogs, etc., you can manually add the style after the PicGo link.
7. Setting Up Custom Domain#
The setting of a custom domain is unrelated to the successful upload. Even if set incorrectly, uploads to OSS can still be done normally. However, if set incorrectly, the images will not be displayed correctly in PicGo's album, and the links will be invalid.
8. Data Security Settings in OSS#
To ensure the security of uploaded data without affecting the normal use of PicGo, in the "Basic Settings" - "Server-side Encryption" of OSS, select "OSS Managed Keys" to encrypt each object with OSS managed keys. This is currently free.
